Carbon Geocapture
Carbon GeoCapture (CGC), headquartered in Laramie, Wyoming, has invested over 20 years and $35 million in developing proprietary technology to fight global warming through permanent carbon dioxide storage in unmineable coal seams. Our team partnered with CGC’s founder to create a comprehensive video strategy that would effectively communicate their complex technological processes and environmental impact. Through a carefully crafted series of both animated and live-action videos, we translated CGC’s sophisticated subsurface monitoring technologies into visually compelling and accessible narratives. These productions strategically highlighted how their carbon sequestration approach safely stores CO2 without geological damage while supporting climate goals, creating high-wage jobs, and advancing the Direct Air Capture (DAC) industry.
Our videos served as crucial tools for the founder to secure new partnerships, attract additional investment, and build essential community trust. By visually demonstrating the scientific principles behind CGC’s work, our work helped dispel common misconceptions about carbon sequestration. We instead were able to produce an invaluable tool to the company that showcases how their innovations have accelerated the commercialization of carbon removal technologies across industries seeking economically viable solutions to reduce their environmental footprint.
